CFM WISHES ALL BUDDHISTS SELAMAT HARI WESAK
The Christian Federation of Malaysia representing the Christian community in Malaysia wishes all Buddhist neighbours and friends a Selamat Hari Wesak as they commemorate and celebrate the birth, enlightenment and passing of their founder Gautama Buddha.
We are indeed privileged that we in Malaysia are able to celebrate together our unique festivities and celebrations in peace and harmony. Though we may be of diverse cultures, religions and ethnicities, yet our identity as Malaysians binds and strengthens us together as one nation.
Let us, therefore, be thankful and conscientious to enhance this privilege and peace by practicing intentional friendship and neighbourliness, exchanging visits and greetings in festivities, and extending help to one another in time of need.
