Biodata of NECF Women Commission Committee Members

Janice Wong

Janice Wong is currently Chairperson of the NECF Women Commission .She gave her heart to Jesus at the age of 12, serving different ministries since then but is most passionate about discipleship and leadership development. She loves studying and teaching the Bible, believing God’s Word has all the answers needed for life. A member of SS Gospel Centre in Petaling Jaya, she serves the Youth Fellowship and is an active participant of a cell group.

Janice had various responsibilities at INTI, Taylor’s and Berjaya universities for 20 years, including corporate affairs, Registrar of a campus in Thailand, Program Director of the American Degree Program, and Director of Special Projects & Administration.

A Youth & Leadership Coach since 2014, she helps shape high school and college students, developing their character and plans for their best direction in life.

Grace Hee

Grace Hee is currently the Advisor cum Mentor of the NECF Women Commission having served as Chairperson for over 10 years. She is currently the Executive Director of AEA (Asia Evangelical Alliance) Women Commission with members from 13 nations across Asia.

Her calling and passion have been in women empowerment, leadership, discipleship and issues affecting women such as domestic abuse, family health and widowhood. She was previously the Chairperson of NECF Prayer Commission that initiated the 40-Day Prayer and Fasting for Malaysia in 2001 and is still going strong annually. Grace continues to be involved in prayer movements in the nation and beyond.

Professionally, Grace is an engineer. Her corporate career spanned 32 years in a major oil and gas multinational where she held positions in engineering, projects and HSE before retiring in 2014.

She is married to Rev Ron Hee of New Life Restoration Centre group of churches. They have a wonderful family of two adult children, a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.

Joelin Lim Ai Ling

Joelin Lim grew up in Shah Alam in a non-Christian family and worships at Klang Presbyterian Church. After graduating from University Malaya, she worked as a counsellor in Sunway University for 9 years. She has served as a community development worker in Malaysian CARE - a Christian non-profit organisation since 2016. Her calling is to serve and journey with marginalised communities through advocacy, empowering the local churches in integral missions in reaching out to the poor and needy. Joelin is single and loves traveling. She hopes to paraglide in Switzerland one day.

Wong Siew Lee

Wong Siew Lee is married with two teenage children. She is a member of the Rawang Country Homes Chinese Methodist Church. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Multimedia University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Church Counselling at Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary.

Wong Siew Lee is actively involved in the ministry of caring for the sick and missions. She has been serving as the Volunteer Secretary for Hospital Ministry Resources since 2018. She is also a Certified Metaverse Expert and co-founded the Mandarin Christian Fellowship in the Metaverse in 2022, leading a team to explore and reach out to users in the mission field of the Metaverse and beyond.
