Biodata of NECF Women Commission Committee Members


Grace Hee

Grace Hee is currently Chairperson of the NECF Women Commission, and the Executive Director of AEA (Asia Evangelical Alliance) Women Commission.

Her calling and passion have been in women empowerment, leadership, discipleship and issues affecting women such as domestic abuse, family health and widowhood. She was previously the Chairperson of NECF Prayer Commission and continues to be involved in prayer movements in the nation.

Professionally, Grace is an engineer. Her corporate career spanned 32 years in a major oil and gas multinational where she held positions in engineering, projects and HSE before retiring in 2014.

She is married to Rev Ron Hee of New Life Restoration Centre group of churches. They have a wonderful family of two adult children, a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.


Susan Chan Tean Yin

Susan Chan is a Bible teacher, itinerant preacher, speaker and corporate trainer. She serves in various capacities both in the marketplace and in ministry. Susan is the Founder, Managing Director of Aidios Resources PLT; Chairperson of Woman Together Asia; Member of Board of Directors AOIC ( Alpha Omega International College).She is also serving in the National Evangelical Christian Fellowship of Malaysia Women Commission and Asian Evangelical Alliance Women Commission. As a women leader in the corporate setting, church and para church organisations, she has mentored many people, men and women both in the corporate world and Christian ministry arena.

She is passionate about Christian education, overseas missions and women ministry especially empowerment of women for leadership. She preaches regularly at her local church FGA Kota Damansara and affiliated churches. Besides this, she has led many mission trips to Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, China.

She is married to Dr. Chan Kok Eng, a retired Vice Chancellor and Senior Professor of a private university in Kuala Lumpur. They have two grown up sons.


Rev. Tryphena Law

Rev. Tryphena Law Pek Leng is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God (AG) Malaysia. She serves as the Executive Director of PLUC Events Sdn. Bhd. for 20 years. PLUC is an organisation in Malaysia that provides pastoral care and pastoral counselling for those struggling with gender issues. She is the treasurer of PPPPSKM (Persatuan Pekerja Prihatin dan Pekerja Sosial Kristian Malaysia). She is also the Board member of PADERI (Pastoral Development and Renewal Initiative). Tryphena is pursuing her DMin currently.


Dr. Cheah Soo Ngoh

Dr Cheah Soo Ngoh is a fully retired government dentist. Before her full retirement, she had worked part time in Universiti Malaya (UM), and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She had helped in dental health missions both locally and overseas. Married to Tang Thin Sue, a retired chemist, they are blessed with four lovely daughters and seven grandchildren (4 boys and 3.. girls). The couple worships at Full Gospel Assembly (FGA) Kuala Lumpur They are helping with the Marriage Preparation Course and the Marriage Course run by the FGA Family Life Centre. She has a passion to help, encourage women and empower them to achieve their potentials.


Janice Wong

Janice Wong gave her heart to Jesus at the age of 12, serving different ministries since then but is most passionate about discipleship and leadership development. She loves studying and teaching the Bible, believing God’s Word has all the answers needed for life. A member of SS Gospel Centre in Petaling Jaya, she serves the Youth Fellowship and is an active participant of a cell group.

Janice had various responsibilities at INTI, Taylor’s and Berjaya universities for 20 years, including corporate affairs, Registrar of a campus in Thailand, Program Director of the American Degree Program, and Director of Special Projects & Administration.

A Youth & Leadership Coach since 2014, she helps shape high school and college students, developing their character and plans for their best direction in life.


Nesam Deva Rani Ebenezer

Nesam Ebenezer is from a Christian family in Kedah! She graduated from Malaysian Bible Seminary in 1982 & in the same year joined Malaysian care! She worked as staff & later as Leader in Rumah Kepercayaan, a rehabilitation home for women with drug problems & prison record. In 1996 she was involved in Urban Community work. She retired from Malaysian Care in 2005 as Director of Prison, Drugs & AIDS. She continued to be active in St Paul’s Anglican Church! She became a Lay Pastor in 2009. She is also the Chairperson of St. Paul’s Day Training Center, a Ministry to people with learning disabilities! She has been active in the NECF Women’s Commission since middle nineties! Her desire is to serve the Lord faithfully!


Joelin Lim Ai Ling

Joelin Lim grows up in Shah Alam in a non-Christian family and worships at Klang Presbyterian Church. After graduating from University Malaya, she worked as a counsellor in Sunway University for 9 years. She serves as a community development worker in Malaysian CARE - a Christian non-profit organisation since 2016. Her calling is to serve and journey with marginalised communities through advocacy, empowering the local churches in integral missions in reaching out to the poor and needy. Joelin is single and loves travelling. She hopes to paraglide in Switzerland one day.
