FLOOD ADVISORY

FLOOD ADVISORY

Dear Pastors, Elders and Church Leaders

Our Crisis Relief Network (CRN) recently met to discuss the possibilities of flooding anticipated at the end of the year. It has been predicted that high rainfall will occur nationwide, during this coming monsoon season. Global warming is the major contributor of both drought and widespread flooding, that is taking place worldwide and Malaysia is not spared. Weather trackers predict that occurrence of flooding will increase in the coming years.

To help churches and believers prepare for the possibility of flooding in their locality, CRN have drafted the flood advisory below for their attention and response. Please share this info with your congregation as it can protect lives and reduce losses. In addition, CRN have also created a digital poster of the advisory for easier circulation via social media which you can download using the link here.

Finally, do inform our office if your church is among those affected by flood waters. We will do our best to dispatch help wherever possible.

Stay dry and stay safe,

Pastor Samuel Ang
Secretary General
