Dear Pastors/ Leaders,
Let us encourage our students to take up the Bible Knowledge subject
The Federation of Christian Mission Schools Malaysia (FCMSM) has highlighted for our attention that the Bible Knowledge (BK), can still be studied and taken as a subject for the SPM exam.
Sadly, the number of candidates for this subject has been decreasing as the years go by and this is a cause for much concern. BK is recognised in our Malaysian Education Curriculum and students are eligible to take this for their SPM exams. Therefore, it is of importance that Christians in Malaysia value this subject and encourage our secondary school students to take it for their coming SPM exams.
FCMSM has been making concerted efforts to promote this subject among its network of local mission schools. They have also developed SPM BK Video Course for facilitators to help in the study of the subject. These videos lessons produced can be found on the FCMSM website.
NECF on behalf of FCMSM would like to encourage our member churches to:
1. Motivate your secondary school students to take up this subject.
2. Encourage church members who will avail themselves to be facilitators using the video lessons for the subject.
We believe and hope that through your sharing and participation, we will build the future generations to have strong biblical foundation of our Christian faith.
