FLOOD PREPARATION & RESPONSE SEMINAR

The East Coast Flood back in 2014 gave rise to major flooding throughout the nation and recently we witnessed similar events in Shah Alam, Klang, as well as in KL (Old Klang Road) and even in Mentakab. The Metrological Department has recently forecast that there would be heavy rainfall and possible widespread flooding for the state of Selangor.
 
Since the Selangor State Government has taken steps to mitigate flood preparation in respond to the forecast, NECF has decided organize the above seminar on 29th October (Saturday), 2022 from 8.30am to 1.00pm at Full Gospel Tabernacle, Wisma Eagles USJ with the purpose of equipping churches within the Klang Valley to face the reality and respond to the flood situation.
 
We have invited Bro Cheong Chee Keen from Asia Crisis Response Alliance who has had many years of experience of providing relief and assistance in disaster zones in Asia like China, Philippines, Indonesia, Nepal, Japan, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
 
We would appreciate if you could disseminate this information to your congregation, that those who interested or can benefit from this training to sign up for the seminar. The objective to this seminar is to equip volunteers from the respective churches within the Klang Valley to face the outcome.
