CFM Vaisakhi Day Greetings
Today, Sikhs around the world come together to celebrate the joyous occasion of Vaisakhi—a day that marks not only a vibrant harvest festival, but also the birth of the Khalsa brotherhood, when Sikhs were given a clear identity and a code of conduct to guide their lives with courage, equality, and devotion.
Here in Malaysia, Vaisakhi is a beautiful reflection of our nation’s multicultural spirit. The Sikh community and its rich traditions represent one of the many colors that form the rainbow identity of our country. Beyond our abundant natural resources, Malaysia’s true wealth lies in its diverse people, religions, and cultures—an enduring strength that has earned us the reputation of being “Malaysia, Truly Asia.”
As Malaysians, let us continue to embrace, celebrate, and build upon this unique shared identity, standing together in unity and mutual respect as our Sikh brothers and sisters celebrate this meaningful day.
To all Sikhs, we wish you a joyful and blessed Vaisakhi. Happy Vaisakhi Day!
Sincerely
Rev Dr Eu Hong Seng
