Advisory for Churches and Church Offices During MCO except for Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
NECF is pleased to highlight the revised SOPs issued by the National Security Council (NSC):
a) Churches are allowed to conduct services subject to guidance issued by the National Unity Ministry as below:
i) Attendance at Church Services: Capacity for less than 1,000 persons - maximum of 20 persons allowed.
For those above 1,000 persons - maximum of 50 persons allowed.
ii) Service time periods: 6am-2pm; and 4pm-10pm
iii) Sanitization works are to be carried out 30 minutes before and after each service.
iv) Other important aspects:
Practise the SOP prescribed, namely personal hygiene, the wearing of face masks and ensure physical distancing to curb the spread of Covid-19 virus
b) For Church Office operations, a capacity of 30 % of the Management Group is allowed and the total number of operational and support staff involved will be determined by the Employer or Management.
