Christmas and New Year Greetings
Recognising that the year 2013 is coming to a close, MCCBCHST takes this opportunity of the Christmas and New Year Season to thank the Almighty for the blessings of peace and harmony showered on us this year.
MCCBCHST wishes all Christians a “Blessed and Peaceful Christmas” and all Malaysians another fruitful New Year for 2014. MCCBCHST urges all Malaysians to pray for a New Year filled with love and hope that will manifest itself through tangible acts of moderation, understanding and acceptance of one another unconditionally.
Mindful of the future we are called to create hearts filled with peace, sincerity and reciprocal mutual admiration and acceptance of one another and to realise that this work of promoting and maintaining harmony among ourselves is the work of people of goodwill.
This requires diligent effort on the part of every citizen. We need to be the accelerator of newer ways to make Malaysiamore inclusive and which does not exclude or revoke the old ways of doing things in the spirit of Muhibbah and at the same time taking simple steps to go beyond and into the domain of universality.
As a multi-cultural and multi-religious nation we are asked to shine forth our innate understanding and acceptance of one another propounding our views and acts with great moderation.
