Dear pastors, elders and church leaders:
Greetings in our Lord's name!
We praise the Lord for the overwhelming responses of Klang Valley churches to the Global Day of Prayer Stadium Event, to be held next Sunday May 23rd, and that He has provided for all the financial needs for organizing the event. We believe the Stadium Event will truly be an awesome gathering of God's people, we believe it is one of God's ordained way to deal with the many crises our nation is facing.
We will appreciate if you can inform your congregation the following matters:
- The Stadium Event will start PUNCTUALLY at 630 pm. Runners from the Torch Run (RunNat) will arrive at 630 and we have to start the program immediately after they enter the stadium. All participants are encouraged to come to the stadium early. Gate opens at 5 pm. From 530 pm onwards prayer leaders will be leading in prayer. There will also be video clips of GDOP. Outside the stadium there will be a voter registration booth as we have invited SPR (Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya) team to come to register voters, or update voter status. There will be two book booths also.
- For those who come early, simple food are available at the hawker stalls at the car park. There are adequate parking facilities.
- Please take note that there are only 13000 seats available and that for safety reason, we may not be able to accommodate everybody. Admission is on the 'first come, first served' basis. Late comers may not be able to enter the stadium if the stadium is already full.
- May we encourage you to give generously during the collection of the offering. All fund received will be used for blessing the community.
Do inform us if your church is hiring bus, and the number of buses. This will help the car park wardens in their planning.
