MCO 2.0 

SOP FOR STATES UNDER MCO 

STATES: Penang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Labuan, Melaka, Johor, and Sabah

DURATION: 14 days from Jan 13 (12.01am) to Jan 26, 2021

Restrictions: 

• No Cross Movement of districts within MCO areas and also other states without the approval of the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP).

• No Movement to Enter and Exit MCO areas without the approval of RMP.  

• No Social Functions such as feasts, wedding and engagement functions, receptions, aqiqah functions, prayers for journey mercies,  tahlil prayers, anniversary celebration, birthday celebrations, reunions, retreats and other functions

• No Seminars/ Workshops/ Courses/ Training/ Conferences/ Talks/ Exhibitions and activities related to Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE).

• HOUSES OF WORSHIP ACTIVITIES:  For the purpose of management of houses of worship, only 5 members of the committee are allowed to attend. .

SOP  for SABAH under MCO 

MCO 2.0 SABAH ONLY

COVERAGE: The whole of Sabah except localities where EMCO is still enforced. Kota Kinabalu, Penampang dan Putatan are categorised as one (1) district.

DURATION: 14 days from Jan 13 (starting 12.01am) to Jan 26, 2021 (11:59 pm)

Restrictions: 

• No Cross Movement of districts within MCO areas and also other states without the approval of the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP).

• No Movement to Enter and Exit MCO areas without the approval of RMP.  

• No Social Functions such as feasts, wedding and engagement functions, receptions, aqiqah functions, prayers for journey mercies,  tahlil prayers, anniversary celebration, birthday celebrations, reunions, retreats and other functions

• RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES: Only 5 people are allowed in non-Muslim houses of worship. The use of online for these activities is encouraged.
