SOP FOR STATES UNDER RMCO 

Areas Involved : Perlis and Sarawak (except for Kuching , Sibu and Miri) 

Duration :  Jan 12( 12.01am ) to March 31   

Notice of Closure for Churches under Kuching , Sibu & Miri 

Restrictions: 

• Movements crossing into EMCO, CMCO and MCO areas are NOT ALLOWED except to receive health treatment, emergency and health matters with the approval of the Royal Malaysian Police.  

ALLOWED 

• Social Functions such as feasts, wedding and engagement functions, receptions, aqiqah functions, prayers for journey mercies,  tahlil prayers, anniversary celebration, birthday celebrations, reunions, retreats and other functions according to the GENERAL SOP on IMPLEMENTATION OF SOCIAL FUNCTIONS.

• Business event activities  related to Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) in compliance with physical distancing, mandatory wearing of face masks and based on the SOP MICE CMCO.

• Religious activities  - Activities in Non-Muslim Houses of Worship in accordance with the SOP for Social Sector - Non-Muslim Houses of Worship by the National Security Council (MKN) dated 4 September 2020
