Greetings in the Glorious Name of our Savior

During our first Child Safe Initiative Seminar that was held on October 10, 2016, our participants were given the awareness the seriousness of Child Abuse in Malaysia.

Our two speakers Dr. Amar Singh and Datuk James Nayagam are practitioners and have great experience as they had to deal with victims and helped them to move on from their traumatic experience. They shared that the church and Christian children homes needs to put its house in order when handling public ministry with children.

As a follow-up to the seminar, we will be conducting a Child Safe Training Program on the 7th of March from 9.00am to 300pm at the NECF Conference Hall.

The said training will cover the following areas:

Training Children to be safe

Children to be educated to be cautious with strangers and only respond to those they know. They should not allow themselves to be vulnerable.

Becoming a Child Safe Organization

As Churches and Christian NGOs we must maintain that integrity that we can provide safe atmosphere those who participate in our events.

 Importance of Formal Audits

The need to set up SOP, that will consistently remind us of our obligations when involved in the public square.
