PRAYER STRATEGY
Purpose:
To strategically prepare evangelicals to respond to the challenges of the 3rd millennium.
Theme:
"Serving Churches Worldwide"
Goal:
To move from theological reflections to practical implications to identification of needs to action plans. We do this by connecting members with our commissions, affiliates and other ministry resources.
Desired Outcome:
- Reaffirm WEF's commitment to local churches as central to God's total redemptive agenda for our world.
- Equip and mobilize churches to disciple their communities and countries for Jesus Christ.
- That leaders of national evangelical fellowships and alliances network and share the common global vision.
Prayer Strategy:
- Mobilizing churches to pray every week starting February 2001.
- Covering delegates in a blanket of prayer during the General Assembly.
- Form Onsite Prayer teams for every day of conference.
