THINKERS’ CLUB
Dear Pastors and Leaders
The NECF Leadership Commission is pleased to announce the launching of the THINKERS’ CLUB. This club is an initiative between NECF and Ravi Zacharias International Ministries..
The purpose is to raise young generational leaders to deal with Apologetics, focusing on “faith matters” to tackle 3 areas of growing concern, namely:-
- Issues relating to Islamization
- Contemporary / Creative Thinking Issues (e.g. the ability to reproduce another human being using science or creating a baby with 3 DNAs instead of the normal 2 DNAs that deals with the issues of ethics)
- Christian Apologetics
As Pastors and Leaders we need to look into empowering our next generation and provide them the tools to equip against the onslaught and defense of the Christian faith. We would like you to challenge your young leaders to attend so that we can explain the road map for the formation of the Thinkers’ Club.
For the launch of the program, we are glad to have Jose Philip from Ravi Zacharias International Ministries to conduct a half day seminar on the topic “LOVE GOD WITH ALL OUR MINDS.”
(Jose is currently the Director of Itinerant Development for Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. He was born in Kerala and grew up in Chennai. He is serving as an Evangelist and Apologist and lectures on Apologetics, Christian Ethics and Gospel & Culture at Singapore Bible College. He has done similar programs in our BTS, Penang and BCM, PJ and is based in Singapore.)
The details of the seminar are as follows:-
Date: Thursday, October 8, 2015
Venue: Full Gospel Tabernacle USJ (FGT)
Time: 9.30am-12.30pm
Contribution: Rm10.00 (inclusive of lunch)
This seminar is open to you, your leaders and in particular your young adults. We hope there will be representatives from your church to this seminar.
